    Golfzon Social is looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join the team

    This position is responsible for driving revenue proactively to Golfzon Social.

    Revenue areas of focus to include but are not limited to events/outings (charity/corporate/social), general individual covers/bay rentals and manufactured (curated events).

    The Ambassador shall execute sales strategies by implementation of proven sales methods, combined with leveraging corporate programs, industry best practices, and current trends in the marketplace.


    As part of our commitment to fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment, it is essential that the successful candidate be within or in close proximity to Westchester or Rockland County areas of New York.

    This requirement is crucial to ensure seamless coordination with our on-site team, customers, and other stakeholders in this specific region.

    This position necessitates frequent travel to various Golfzon Social locations within the market.

    Essential Duties:

    • Solicits new and existing business to meet/exceed revenue goals (Event/Group goals, plus daily bay + F&B revenue goals. Methods of sales may include, but are not limited to telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, sales presentations, property tours, customer meetings, travel to surrounding markets/businesses and written correspondence.
    • Creates partnerships with other area businesses, charities, social groups and more, ensuring that Golfzon Social is kept top of mind with groups and transient guests including potential referral programs.
    • Develops a clear and concise sales process to attract groups, tournaments, social /catered events with effective/proactive follow-up for each.
    • Strategically utilizes and understands different revenue opportunities for the facility, including meeting/event planners, local/area businesses, outing opportunities and other partnerships or relationships, which offer revenue opportunities.
    • Prepares reports such as annual sales plans, monthly sales reports, annual goals, sales & marketing budgets and forecasts. Effectively using CRM to track all sales activity on a daily/weekly basis. Weekly goal 100 outbound proactive sales calls per week (phone/email outreach and/or in person).

    • Other local businesses- youth sport orgs., health clubs,
    • Maintains a thorough understanding of the operations, bay maximization, group needs, key vendor relationships and the tools they offer to support and manage goals.
    • Continually researches and analyzes local market conditions to obtain an in-depth understanding of competitor's pricing strategies throughout the year.
    • Creates a sales culture throughout all facility operations, maintaining excellent service standards to achieve positive Net Promoter Scores and guest satisfaction.
    • Maintains the ability to understand inventory during different times of year, allowing the facility to maximize revenues with all round types and golf groups.
    • Effectively communicates sales strategies to key stakeholders.
    • Maintains a thorough group database for the facility, allowing for high quality Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and prompt customer follow-up.
    • Represents the facility on appropriate site visits including outings, social events and potential meetings.
    • Participates in the day-to-day marketing efforts (20%) of the facility, assisting the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, as needed.
    • Assists in developing and executing strategic sales & marketing plans that effectively communicate overall facility sales goals, including strategic directions, key objectives, target segments, strategies, marketing & public relations and Troon programs on an ongoing basis.
    • Creates tournaments with local audiences such as local charities, local businesses, Troon Cardholders, Troon Rewards members, key third-party customers, public guests, etc.
    • Clearly understands and promotes Troon programs at the facility generating incremental rounds and revenues and trains and leads all staff at the facility to do the same.
    • Regular and reliable attendance.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education/Experience:
    Bachelor's degree (BA) and minimum two years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Physical Demands:
    Frequently sits, talks, hears, uses hands. Regularly walks and stands. Occasionally reaches with hands and arms, stoops, kneels, crawls and crouches. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.


    Environment/Noise:
    Noise level is moderate. Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.

    Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and

    Abilities Preferences:

    • Ability to read and speak English (e.g. the associates are required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
    • Excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills.
    • Related experience involving food & beverage and catering sales is preferred.

    Compensation:
    $50,000- $60,000 + commission
