Description

Job Description Summary:

The Field Specialist will be responsible for providing care to clients during their scheduled shifts, handling new cases, supporting current caregivers, training new hires, and guiding the field team. This role requires flexibility to work in various locations within the BrightStar Care territory.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

Provide client care as instructed by the Branch Manager or Client Care Manager
Travel within the service area
Be available for 8-hour shifts at least 5 days a week
Work with diverse patient populations and different shift lengths
Comfortable working in all home environments and around pets
Have a reliable vehicle for client transportation
Adhere to dress code and facility rules
Possess a dependable cell phone for documentation and quick responses
Assist with office tasks if no client shifts are available
Offer mentorship and training to new caregivers
Conduct caregiver competency assessments
Ensure quality and safety in client care

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED
Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Valid driver's license and auto insurance
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in various home environments
