Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Aviation Project Manager to lead the design and execution of landside and airside aviation projects, transportation and drainage projects, municipal utility projects, and related infrastructure developments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in airport project management within the United States, particularly in Texas, with a strong background in civil engineering and design.

As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to quality, scheduling, and budgeting parameters.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive work plans encompassing all project phases, from initial project definition documents to construction contract closeout.
• Execute work plans with meticulous attention to quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) controls, scheduling, and budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate closely with design managers, project managers, and program controls managers to ensure design conformance, monitor project progress, and provide accurate and timely reporting.
• Serve as the foundation leader for team building, leading the recruitment, development, and management of a new project team.
• Oversee and coordinate Capital Improvement Program (CIP) work plans to ensure seamless integration with ongoing projects and initiatives

Skills Required:

• Extensive experience in the design of landside and airside aviation projects, transportation and drainage projects, and municipal utility projects.
• Proficiency in construction sequencing, traffic control, striping and pavement marking layouts, and preparation of construction specifications and standards.
• Strong understanding of airport project management principles and practices, particularly in the United States.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas with a degree in Civil Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a new project team, fostering collaboration and achieving results.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Promen track record of successfully managing projects within established QA/QC, scheduling, and budgeting parameters.

Additional Requirements:

• Design experience is a must.
• Current airport project experience in the United States is essential.
