Childcare Teacher | Charleston & North Charleston

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking Childcare & Preschool Teachers for our top-rated schools in Charleston and North Charleston. No nights or weekends

Pay rate of $16.25-$20.00 per hour*, based on experience, education and credentials.

Teaching Opportunities:

Infant Teacher
Toddler Toddler
Early Preschool/Explorer Teacher
Preschool Teacher

Child Care Teacher Responsibilities:

Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style
Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Document and share with families the important milestones in a child's day using our app
Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development
Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of ECD101 or Associates Degree
At least 6 months of experience working as a teacher at a licensed childcare center

Pay rate is determined by education and experience. Employees with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower scale rate. Employees with at least ECD 101 to Associates will be paid mid-scale and applicants with a BA or higher and experience will be paid at the high end of the scale
