- Operates forklift, wheel loader, excavator to move material in facility
- Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services. Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulics, suspension and brake systems on equipment.
- Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing equipment, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
- Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; work with a sense of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness
- Ability to adhere to work schedule, take initiative, and follow through on challenges as they arise

Description
Cold Canyon Processing Facility, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate position available for an Operator / PM Helper at our operation in San Luis Obispo, CA .
The primary duties of this job is to operate forklift, excavator and wheel loader, and to service the heavy equipment + conveyor belts on the sort line.
The pay range will be $22-25/hour, depending on experience. We also offer great family benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation etc.
