    Overview:

    The Early Buyout Opportunity (EBO) analyst is responsible for operations management within the EBO production lifecycle (buyout, lender financing, agency re-delivery, and defect management).

    This individual will lead in buyout processing, warehouse lender financing, data reconciliation, agency redelivery, and will interface with subservicing, custodian, and lending partners. The analyst will possess superior organization, communication skills, and a strong desire to learn. The analyst will participate in data and automation improvement initiatives to drive the business forward. This role has a strong focus on the development and execution of strategic initiatives and providing solutions to business stakeholders.

    The role can take advantage of Lakeviews offices in Coral Gables, FL, Horsham, PA, Denver, CO, or Ft Lauderdale, FL hybrid or fully-remote anywhere in the United States. The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $100,000 with annual bonus; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, education/training, location and key skills.

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of Lakeviews early buyout program, including but not limited to buyout strategy, warehouse financing, agency redelivery and pooling, whole loan transactions, and structured financial products
    • Identification of opportunities to finance and timely execute funding in accordance with warehouse lender deal constraints
    • Identifies and coordinates resolution of defects with internal and external partners to ensure portfolio optimization
    • Retrieval, reconciliation and analysis of data and documentation to facilitate due diligence, financing, loan sale, funding, agency repooling, or securitization
    • Review and evaluate data tapes to identify and resolve data exceptions and respond to research inquiries
    • Determination of financing and redelivery eligibility in accordance with GNMA pooling parameters
    • Completes pooling, delivery, and warehouse settlement activities as needed
    • Prepares and distributes reporting as necessary
    • Willingness to learn applicable compliance & agency guidelines and financing/custodial agreements
    • Willingness to learn GNMA loss mitigation options, with a focus on modifications
    • Ensures policies and procedures are properly maintained and documented
    • Responsible for identification of automation opportunities and process improvements to drive business forward
    • Effective communication with the ability to lead initiatives and projects externally and upwards to management
    Qualifications:

    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with strong skills in Microsoft Excel
    • Knowledge of SQL, CAS, Microsoft Access, or any other programming language is a plus
    • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize competing tasks
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners
    • Maintains a high-level of personal accountability and professionalism
    • The ideal candidate will have an understanding of mortgage servicing requirements and secondary marketing experience

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelors preferred with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of mortgage banking experience in the areas of closing, post-closing, mortgage servicing, and secondary marketing
    • Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement
