    Remote - 1 year contract

    Our client is expanding its cybersecurity capabilities within its engineering teams and seeking a cybersecurity TARA engineer to aid system cybersecurity responsibilities including, but not limited, to the following:

    Required Skills
    • Threat analysis and risk assessments (TARA)
    • ISO/SAE 21434 compliant threat models
    Job Duties and Responsibilities
    • Create and maintain ISO/SAE 21434 compliant threat models:
    • Determine, document and communicate cybersecurity relevance;
    • Identify cybersecurity assets and damages scenarios;
    • Perform threat analysis and risk assessments (TARA);
    • Define cybersecurity goals, controls and requirements;
    • Document and present cybersecurity evidence;
    • Support engineering launch teams:
    • Inform and analyze the cybersecurity of system architectures and system requirements;
    • Develop and maintain cybersecurity requirements specifications and cybersecurity requirements traceability for systems, software, dev-ops, and other relevant disciplines;
    • Review cybersecurity requirements with verification and validation teams and support the development of cybersecurity test cases;
    • Facilitate cybersecurity discussion between product stakeholders and engineering disciplines
    Required Qualifications
    • 5+ years of work within system software engineering with demonstrable cybersecurity experience, specifically threat analysis and risk assessments (TARA).
    • Threat modeling within the automotive industry experience.
    • Experience writing requirements/ cybersecurity controls.
    • Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
    • Experience with JIRA, DOORS and familiar with embedded software.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
    • Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
