Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Wellspan Health.

Required Skills/Experience: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Skills: Cardiovascular, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, MS/Tele, Telemetry, FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV insulin protocols, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Heparin Protocols, PCA, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Total joint replacement, Surgical drains, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience. Skills: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Phlebotomy, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Tracheostomy care/management.
Required Credentials: RN License: No license hits are accepted. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.
Unit/Facility Details: Could care for COVID patients.
Special Requests: Travel pairs are okay, but the client cannot guarantee matched schedules.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends: EOW. Call Requirements: N/A. Holidays: as needed.
Floating Requirements: Will float to all MS floors and potentially rehab. Will float to floors that take stroke patients (3South) and peritoneal Dialysis (4East).
