    A pioneering clean energy startup at the forefront of renewable solutions is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead its electrical design and engineering projects.

    This role is based in Northern California and offers the unique opportunity to be at the cutting edge of energy storage, electric vehicle (EV) charging, and solar technology development.


    The successful candidate will use their engineering prowess and creativity to oversee the design, development, and enhancement of various projects and products.

    This position is ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact in the clean energy sector.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Lead electrical design and development efforts for energy storage systems, PV, and EV charging solutions, ensuring technical and regulatory compliance.

    Act as the go-to technical expert for BESS and PV system design, electrical calculations, and industry innovations.
    Collaborate with external partners and consultants, ensuring designs meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
    Manage all aspects of product testing, certification, and commissioning, prioritizing safety and reliability.
    Support project execution from conceptual design through completion, facilitating collaboration across teams and with external stakeholders.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline. Advanced licensure (PE) or EIT certification with a clear path to licensure is preferred.
    Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically within the renewable energy, power generation, or microgrid sectors.

    Expertise in using design and simulation software, with a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code and relevant industry standards.

    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work within a team environment, and communicate effectively across different levels of the organization.

    Familiarity with utility standards and requirements, and a proven track record of innovative engineering solutions in the clean energy domain.

    This is a full-time role requiring a presence in the
    SF California office, providing considerable autonomy. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and equity options.
