    Description

    Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team.

    As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing care within our facility.

    This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.


    Duties:

    • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including HIPAA
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
    • Manage and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
    • Monitor patient care to ensure quality and adherence to care plans
    • Oversee medication management and administration
    • Conduct regular assessments of patient needs and adjust care plans as necessary
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and optimal patient outcomes
    • Stay uptodate with advancements in nursing practice and technology
    *Director of Nursing LTC*Genie Healthcare is currently seeking a DON to fill an opening located in Gardendale, AL for $71/hr (taxed + non-taxed)


    • 8a-3:30p
    • 7 week contract
    * _40 hrs/wk= $2840 gross/wk_
    * _Weekly Taxable =$1680 $42hr_
    * _Weekly travel stipend: $1160 weekly_

    *Requirements: * 1 year of experience
    * _BLS_
    * _Covid vaccine_
