Join a USA Today Top Workplace Morris Group Inc one of the largest machine tool distribution networks in North America is a third generation family owned and operated business that serves manufacturers of precision machined parts in the United States Our mission is to help manufacturers maintain a competitive advantage in the world economy by improving productivity What You Will Contribute Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits evaluation of opportunities machine assessment and recommendations part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposals Programming and setting up CNC lathes CNC vertical or horizontal mills and Swiss style lathes Developing implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers lathes grinders Swiss style lathes and or multi-tasking machines Maintaining an indepth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Strong hands-on machining background with at least 3 years of experience with CNC machines
  • Experience on Swiss and Okuma controls is a plus
  • Proven solid understanding of CAD/CAM software vital MasterCam Esprit Solidworks experience a plus Excellent customer service effective interpersonal skills required Frequent travel throughout our regional territory Other Functions Perform related duties as required The physical demands work environment characteristics described here are representativeof those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to performthe essential functions
