- Valid LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of Ohio
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to provide medical care and support to students in accordance with established protocols and procedures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and support to students in a school setting under the direction of the school nurse or other healthcare professionals
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and assess students' health status and respond to medical emergencies or concerns as needed
- Communicate with parents/guardians, school staff, and healthcare providers regarding students' health issues, treatments, and progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of student assessments, treatments, and interventions
- Collaborate with the school nurse and other members of the school health team to promote a safe and healthy environment for students
