    Position Overview:
    The Echo Cardiac Sonographer will perform echocardiographic studies to assist in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions.

    This role requires a high level of expertise in cardiac imaging, as well as strong analytical and communication skills to provide detailed and accurate diagnostic information.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Perform and interpret transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms according to established protocols and physician orders.
    Evaluate and document the quality of images and measurements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    Prepare and position patients for echocardiographic studies, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns.
    Operate and maintain echocardiographic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting any issues.
    Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in developing patient care plans.
    Maintain detailed records of echocardiographic procedures, patient information, and diagnostic results.
    Adhere to safety protocols and infection control practices to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
    Stay current with advancements in echocardiography and cardiology to provide the highest standard of care.

    Qualifications:
    Associate s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field; Bachelor s degree preferred.
    Certification as an Echo Cardiac Sonographer (e.g., RDCS, RCS) from a recognized certifying body.
