- Verify Waste Stream Profiles are active
- Ensure waste labels are correct and accurate
- Inspections of 90 day hazardous waste rooms
- Aid with monthlyhazardous waste surveys
- Manage waste findings and incidents
- Understand and implement waste storage and handling procedures
- Actively problem solve and trouble shoot waste logistics
- Maintain active communication with various customer personnel
- Assist in the disposal of hazardous waste and materials as part of laboratory clean outs
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field - Chemistry preferred
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities, develop plans to close gaps, garner management support for key initiatives, and track improvement initiatives to closure
- Risk analysis skills: capable of hazard and risk identification, assessment, and controls; communicate risks and methods to reduce risk
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize work effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to actively problem solve

Candidate will be part of a team that provides Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support to laboratory R&D operations, with an emphasis on waste coordinating.
