Job SummaryThe Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour nursing, clinical and administrative responsibility for an assigned inpatient unit towards the achievement of excellence in client care.

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the coordination, management and supervision of the unit staff including nursing staff, clinical and therapy staff as assigned.

Qualifications10 years of nursing experience with 5 years inpatient psychiatric unit leadership experienceBSN required, MSN preferredCurrent Connecticut Registered Nurse licenseDemonstrated critical thinking and sound decision making skillsStrong communication, interpersonal and leadership and teambuilding skills requiredMust be able to work with others, take direction and work varying hoursComputer proficiency and keyboarding skills requiredWe take great care of careers.
