    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.


    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced pharmacist to join our team as an Inpatient Nightshift Pharmacist at our 250-bed regional medical center in Albuquerque, NM.

    This position offers a 7on 7off night schedule on a 13-week contract basis, with potential for temp-to-hire. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NM pharmacist license and possess prior experience in a hospital setting. Familiarity with IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis is highly desirable.

    Contract Role: 13-Weeks, 7 on 7 off schedule, Nightshifts


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide prehensive pharmaceutical care to inpatients during the nightshift hours.
    • Review medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness, ensuring pliance with hospital policies and regulations.
    • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently, utilizing automated dispensing technology as needed.
    • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize medication therapy and ensure patient safety.
    • Conduct patient medication counseling and education as required.
    • Monitor and manage drug therapy regimens, including adjusting dosages and remending alternative therapies as necessary.
    • Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of all pharmacyrelated activities and interventions.
    • Assist in inventory management and medication procurement processes.
    • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and standards of practice governing pharmacy operations.

    Ideal Candidate Requirements:

    • Possess a valid pharmacist license in the state of New Mexico.
    • Demonstrated experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting, preferably in a similar role.
    • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical care principles.
    • Proficiency in utilizing pharmacyrelated IT systems, including EPIC and Pyxis, or similar platforms.
    • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
    • Detailoriented with a mitment to accuracy and patient safety.
    • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and scheduling demands.
