    Job Summary
    Performs on-site monthly inspections of portable fire extinguishers by using mobile technology to ensures maintenance, repair and/or replacement of university owned portable fire extinguishers is maintained. Records and organizes survey results in inspection software.

    Essential Functions
    • Communicates with vendor on fire extinguisher maintenance, repair, and/or replacement needs.
    • May perform other safety related inspections as requested, including but not limited to tent inspections and hot work permits.
    • Duties will involve considerable activity campus-wide that will include substantial walking and climbing to service over 300 locations.


    Minimum Qualifications
    • Enrolled student at Auburn University
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • High degree of organization and time management skills
    • Must possess a valid drivers license.

    Pay Rate
    $12.00-$15.00/hour
