    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation, ensuring culinary standards and objectives are met.

    • Monitor food quality and consistency, conducting regular taste tests and inspections to uphold Maü Miami's standards of excellence.
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
    • Assist in ordering and purchasing supplies, ingredients, and equipment necessary for kitchen operations.
    • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient communication and smooth service during peak dining hours.
    • Demonstrate leadership and teamwork, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture among kitchen staff.
    • Execute culinary duties as needed, including preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel setting.
    • Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution preferred.
