Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of History at Wheaton College (MA) seeks an experienced educator to teach a survey course, directly particularly to first-year students, in Global, World, Ancient, or European history in Fall 2024.
The course will be scheduled upon hiring of the successful applicant, but likely will meet twice weekly for 80 minutes either Tuesday/Thursday mornings or afternoon or Monday/Wednesday afternoons, or thrice weekly for 50 minutes on Monday/Wednesday/Friday mornings.
Fall 2024 classes run from Tuesday, August 27 to Friday, December 6, with final examinations during the week of December 9-14, and final grades due on Monday, December 16.
