Job summary
The House Supervisor is responsible for providing oversight of the facility to lead the staff in the absence of the upper management staff. Educate patients and family reporting any important health history facts to the emergency physician medical director.Responsibilities
- Create coordinates and monitors daily work assignments
- Assist with transferring of patients out of the facility; knowledgeable of EMTALA rules and requirements
- Give patients and family members emotional support as necessary
- Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with patients families visitors physicians and staff
