    Physician / Emergency Medicine Job Opportunity

    We are seeking a temporary Emergency Medicine physician to cover shifts at the Outer Banks Hospital in Nags Head, NC.

    Job Details:

    • Duration: Temporary assignment starting in April
    • Location: Outer Banks Hospital, Nags Head, NC

    The hospital is fully accredited and provides high-quality care in a compassionate environment. It offers a wide range of services, including emergency medicine, and reaches 350,000 visits during its summer season.

    Shift Times:

    1. Varying shifts available including day and night rotations
    Passwords per hourAverage patient load: 18-20 patients per day

    No ICU/Critical care duties. Responds to codes with support from hospitalist team.Specialty backup provided by anesthesia and radiology teams.Requirements:
    • Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine
    • Current North Carolina state license
    • DEA registration
