- The SCADA Engineer requires a detail-oriented skillset with exceptional problem solving skills
- Experience with control system design including PLC programs
- Working knowledge of components for PLC based controls systems including panel layout, architecture, sizing, relay logic, and communication protocols
- Experience with VFDs and PID control loops
- Experience with Automation Direct PLC, Allen-Bradley PLC, and Siemens PLC products
- A SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the SCADA systems
- The position will design and deploy automation technologies to reduce operational cost, improve runtime and support our culture of safety
- The SCADA Engineer will lead and manage technical projects with contractors from kickoff to completion
- The position will provide superior customer support to SCADA system users
- The role will take direction from Sr. SCADA staff and/or the SCADA Manager
- Coordinate testing of new solutions or changes to existing solutions to ensure integrity and quality Implement enterprise SCADA system across all areas of operation
- Partner with the automation team to ensure completion of daily and project field work Develop and maintain standards for programing, hardware and software
- Work with field technicians to resolve and test new devices
- Work with field staff to troubleshoot and resolve communication issues
