    Description
    Group W is seeking a Java or Python Full Stack Developer to work in Alexandria, Va location at a client site
    Secret Clearance required On site or possible Hybrid role for the right candidate Outstanding Benefits Group W is an analysis, modeling and research company that partners with leaders in government, commercial, intergovernmental, and non-governmental organizations
    If you have recent Java or Python Development experience a Secret Clearance and have or are willing to get your Security + Certification, we would like to speak to you Please apply Duties/Responsibilities:


    • Use VUE or React to support wargaming applications.
    • Participate in client liaisons to collect and refine project requirements.
    • Design user interfaces and implement them to code.
    • Work directly with the original application architects.
    • Report to a manager that is invested in the ongoing success of Group W projects.
    • Design, develop and implement UI and back-end utilities.
    • Use your Security + certification to have privileges on the network if needed.
    • Have the ability to work at the client site 3 days a week
    Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

    Basic Qualifications:

    • BS degree in Computer Science (or a related field)
    • 3 plus years of Full Stack / Full life Cycle development experience
    • Secret Clearance, or previous Secret Clearance that could be Reinstated
    • Security + Certification or the ability to get it before you start
    • 3 plus years of Java or Python Development experience
    • JavaScript or TypeScript experience
    • Recent experience with Vue, React or Angular
    • AWS deployment experience
    • SQL or NoSQL experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • DevOps experience is a plus
    • TS/SCI Clearance or Eligible
    • No SQL is a plus
    • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
    • Jenkins, bamboo, or Git experience a plus
    • Experience working in an Agile environment
    • Software design patterns, CI CD, Linux
    • UI design
