ETL Engineer with Security Clearance - Herndon, VA, United States - Invex Technology Solutions, LLC

ETL Engineer Do you enjoy working with data? Transforming and enriching content so users can find what they're looking for? Working with modern design patterns including Serverless and Event Driven Architectures? Invex is looking for you to join our ETL team You'll work with a small team of engineers building and maintaining data pipelines that help drive the enterprise
Our pipelines are based in AWS and leverage Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge, and more to process millions of data records each day at scale
With new datasets coming online, there's always a new challenge to meet and room to innovate and improve Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Strong Experience in Python programming language
• Experience developing and deploying applications in AWS

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM), Terraform, or similar Preferred Qualifications:

Security Clearance:
Secret or higher

• Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
• Experience with AWS Lambda
• Experience with AWS Step Functions
• Experience with Bash Scripting
• Experience with Make
• Proficiency in operating, monitoring, and ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and data pipelines, including the implementation of effective alerting mechanisms and proactive remediation strategies
