    Volunteer Associate
    Per-Diem (15 hours per week)
    15 hours per week- 2 or 3 weekdays (daytime office hours)-Onsite
    Job Description

    • Manages VSys (volunteer database) to add application, track volunteer hours, maintain orientation modules, set up training and other vital data including report summary of volunteers
    • Provide coverage, customer service (phone or email) trouble shoot and respond to initial volunteer inquiries
    • Schedule new applicant virtual interviews, medical appointments, photo ID's
    • Interfaces with site supervisors to ensure strong matches and retention of volunteers
    • Responsible for monthly evaluations, exit interviews, returning of photo ID and jackets when volunteers are terminated
    • Responsible for department supplies, tracking inventory, mailings
    • Manages new tech projects for department in order to reach a broader candidate pool
    • Covers all aspects of the department when director is away
    • Other duties as requested
    Qualifications

    • Associates Degree (B.A. preferred) and two to three years' experience in volunteer management or related discipline.
