    Job Title: Retail Associate

    Location: La Jolla, CA

    Reports To: Store Manager

With thriving online and offline locations, including La Jolla, CA, we are rapidly expanding.

    ROLE SUMMARY:

    We are thrilled to welcome a key team member to FEATURE. Our Sales Team plays a crucial role in driving sales and nurturing customer relationships. Associates need to excel in customer interactions, understanding their needs to maximize sales opportunities. They are responsible for maintaining ongoing communication with clients, upholding store standards, and operating point-of-sale systems competently.

    Responsibilities:

    • Achieve and exceed personal sales goals set by the store manager
    • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to optimize sales
    • Listen to customers, identify their needs, and address any concerns
    • Engage in follow-up communication beyond initial sales
    • Maintain store appearance and standards
    • Operate point-of-sale and email systems
    • Ensure store inventory security
    • Adhere to operational policies and procedures
    • Opening:
      • Prepare store for opening, including dusting and restocking
      • Complete necessary tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and reporting
    • Closing:
      • Complete closing duties like cleaning, organizing, and preparing for the next day
      • Handle end-of-day responsibilities and maintain store equipment

    Handle Outbound Shipments: Pull and organize products for online orders efficiently

    Manage Shipment Onboarding: Stock daily shipments accurately and timely

    Manage Steam Rack: Ensure steaming of apparel and display on the sales floor promptly

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2+ years in sales or customer service
    • Sales-driven, goal-oriented mindset
    • Positive, energetic, and engaging personality
    • Initiative to approach customers and understand their needs
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in operating retail POS systems, Word, Excel, and email
    • Ability to lift and move objects up to 15 pounds
