- Provides thorough counseling to members and eligible dependents on personal property movements to ascertain
what move will be of best value for the member and the government - Independently inspects outbound and inbound shipments at owner's residence and at public scales to ensure that
household goods are properly packed and/or crated and that proper containers and materials are used - Provides oversight of the DPM contract
- Makes analysis of higher headquarters and local directives pertaining to the routing of personal property shipments
for movement within the CONUS and overseas - Reviews tracer requests for members whose shipments are considered late to determine necessary action to be taken
against TSP if violations of TOS or regulations exists - Works to achieve and support quality improvement in all products and services
