Job summary
The contractor shall perform various services including troubleshooting, tear-down, repair, refurbishment and overhaul of designated equipment.Responsibilities
* NAVAID antenna and component repair and overhaul* Rotary joint and drive motor troubleshooting and repair
* Circuit board testing and repair
* Production and repair of electronic cables and wire harnesses
Performing equipment performance analyses , information collection reporting installation of equipment modification NAS Radomes Structural inspection towers components heights exceeding feet performing maintenance inside outside tower structures at heights exceeding feet Labor includes but not limited to installation removal maintenance communication antennae surveillance systems safety wire tower guy pull shackles obstruction lighting systems Moderate lifting carrying straight pushing pulling reaching shoulders use fingers hands required walking standing repeated bending climbing crawling kneeling operation crane truck tractor motor vehicle both eyes required depth perception distinguish colors shades colors hearing aid permitted Attend all Training Classes maintain knowledge procedures failure return system full operational capability Perform basic troubleshooting fault isolation removal replacement failed Line Replaceable Units LRUs verify functions variable conditions Prepare FAA interagency assets shipment field site vendor locations Federal Aviation Administration Logistic Center FAALC Enters time Data Collection Reporting System DCRS daily ensure timely billing hours Keeps Crew Leads informed assigned tasks status Tower Climbing Work heights exceeding Performing corrosion control prevention Operation boom man lifts motorized forklifts Working ropes heights Installation electronic mechanical systems components NAS InterAgency systems Due limitations fall protection gear minimum weight applicant lbs maximum weight lbs Position requires traveling up emergency call outs corrective maintenance as required Assisting producing reviewing revising interpreting technical documents designing fabricating assembling troubleshooting repairing electrical electronic mechanical systems subsystems components test fixtures prototypes developing performing adjustment certification processes installing modifications
