    As the Clinical Director, you will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and growth of our New Jersey Mental Health program.

    Preventive Measures is a multi-state organization that continues to expand, and we are looking to find a candidate that has the drive to build a new program.

    You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, including strategic planning, clinical operations, staff management, community partnerships, and program expansion.

    The ideal candidate is a leader with a strong background in mental health services, a passion for developing new programs, and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges.

    The Clinical Director must be able to problem solve and make decisions in the best of our clients and organization.


    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    Administrative Support:

    • Provide administrative support including managing phone calls, emails, and other forms of
    communication.


    • Coordinate appointments and maintain the program's calendar, ensuring efficient scheduling and
    resolving conflicts as they arise.


    • Greet clients, visitors, and stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are
    addressed promptly and appropriately.


    • Assist with the intake process for new clients, including collecting and verifying necessary information, completing necessary forms, and explaining policies and procedures.

    Program Development and Strategic Planning:

    • Execute the strategic plan for the program, aligning with the overall mission and goals of the organization.
    • Identify opportunities for program growth, innovation, and expansion, including new service offerings, partnerships, and community collaborations.

    Program Operations Management:

    • Manage the inventory and ordering of office supplies, equipment, and program-related materials.
    • Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and training sessions, ensuring logistical arrangements and necessary resources are in place.
    • Collaborate with other team members to support program initiatives, such as quality improvement projects and community outreach efforts.
    • Data Management and Reporting

    Clinical Operations Management:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to clients.
    • Implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols that adhere to legal and ethical standards.
    • Monitor program outcomes, evaluate performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to improve program effectiveness and efficiency.

    Staff Management and Development:

    • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurse
    practitioners, therapists, and administrative staff.


    • Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional growth and providing mentorship opportunities for staff.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance staff competencies.

    Community Engagement and Partnerships:

    • Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and referral networks.
    • Represent the program in community events, conferences, and meetings to raise awareness and promote its mission.
    • Identify opportunities for community outreach, education, and engagement related to mental health.

    Financial Management:

    • Manage the program's budget in collaboration with the Corporate Leadership team.

    Position Specifications:

    • Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, healthcare management or a related field. A clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.
    • Experience in a leadership role within a mental health program or healthcare organization, preferably in an outpatient setting.
    • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and best practices in mental health care.
    • Strong understanding of program development, strategic planning, and business acumen.
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
    • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining partnerships with community organizations and healthcare providers.
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
    • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced,
    startup environment.


    • Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements in the mental health field.
