    Position Details

    Location: Conroe, TX (40 miles north of downtown Houston)

    Compensation:
    Target base salary ~$65K - $75K

    Opportunities on:


    • 2nd shift (3:30p - midnight Mon-Fri)
    • Weekend shift (7a - 7p Fri-Sun) *this is a 36 hr workweek sked, but you are paid for 40 hrs

    Position Description

    As a Receiving Supervisor, you will work in an Operations leadership position responsible for supervising the personnel and activities associated with inbound receiving operations (Hardware and Materials) of the company's Machine Fabrication shop.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the supervision of personnel involved in material handling, product replenishment, and order receiving / processing, while ensuring safety and security of the facility.

    You will report to the Supply Chain/Operations Supervisor and be responsible for maintaining the inventory of materials, buyouts, and consumables for company operations.


    Other responsibilities include:

    • Supervise the daily work and safety of employees engaged in order selection, product replenishment, order loading, including all material receiving, selectors, loaders and night forklift operators.
    • Manage labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
    • Suggest efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assists with implementation of changes within night warehouse.
    • Conduct shipping and loading audit daily ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed and that material is handled and stored correctly with a minimum potential for loss.
