Riviera ENT is a busy Outpatient Otolaryngology (ENT) private practice seeking an exceptional FULL-TIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT to join our team.
We are an modern Ear, Nose, and Throat (Otolaryngology) private practice in Santa Barbara, CA. The ideal candidate would prefer a full-time position for at least one year.
Riviera ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) is a private subspecialty surgical practice with two physicians located on State Street in Santa Barbara, CA. We pride ourselves as being a clean, friendly, modern medical practice that offers state-of-the-art treatments and compassionate care for our patients. We see all ages of patients and offer the breadth of ENT care. Otolaryngology (ENT) is a very interesting field with a unique combination of medical and surgical management. We value working as a team to best treat their patients.
We are looking for a friendly, professional, collegial, driven individual with AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF MEDICAL ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE.

Job Description:
- Assist directly with patient care.
- Ensuring patient charts are in order. All charts are electronic.
- Setting up and assisting in-office surgical procedures on all ages of patients, from newborns to elderly.
- Turning over exam and procedure rooms and processing of instrumentation.
- Handle administrative duties in a timely manner.
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support physicians.
- Triage messages, communicate and coordinate with other staff members.
- Must be comfortable with electronic medical records systems (EMR).
- Multitasking is a valued and necessary skill.

Hours:
- 8:00 – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
- 1 hour lunch
- Some exceptions for early closure on Fridays
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment -Multitasking is a valued and necessary skill
- Must be comfortable with electronic medical records systems (EMR)
- Basic knowledge of computer, fax, email, scanning, and health insurance plans

Pay/Benefits:
- Salary $22 - $25+ depending upon experience and skill level
