Duties and responsibilities:

Complete electrical designs to support firm-wide projects by working with Project Managers (any discipline) and electrical teammates
Project management of electrical discipline led projects
Meet with clients, utilities, and other parties to investigate site conditions/third party interface requirements for the project
Work with project managers/clients on developing scope of work, prepare proposals, attend design workshops, prepare and negotiate fees, manage projects and evaluate project financials
Prepare detailed contract documents, studies and cost estimates
Manage, review, and provide oversight of design calculations, design drawings, procurement specifications, and construction specifications
Client relationship development and management responsibilities
Manage the preparation of electrical design documents including:
One-Line diagrams
Electrical Equipment, Lighting, and Grounding Layouts
Block diagrams and cable tray layouts
Panel and cable schedules
Control System Architecture and Communication Layouts
Procurement and Construction Specifications
Medium/low voltage power distribution systems
Lighting systems
Lightning protection systems
Communications systems
Electric motors and controls
Substation design
Electrical calculations such as equipment sizing, short circuit, voltage drop, load studies, etc.
Selective coordination and arc flash studies
Preparation of detailed contract documents and studies
Construction observations
Size electrical distribution equipment
Determine wire, cable, and conduit sizes
Mentors and develops junior staff. Collaborates with senior staff across all US and international offices

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; required
Professional Engineering License (PE); required
6+ years of experience
Power distribution experience; required
Previous experience at an Infrastructure Engineering Industry; preferred
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to complete complex technical assignments and prepare and analyze technical reports
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
Availability and willingness to travel as needed
