Job summary
Teach content subject aligned to state and national standards outlined by KCPS' guaranteed and viable curriculum. Proactively seeks to identify and screen possible English Learners, and collaborates with all staff members to ensure English Language Development instruction and support is provided within all subject area.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates learning and instruction by using multiple presentation methods: demonstrating, modeling, visual representations, and strategies that aid in supplementing and engaging students content.
- Collaborates with teachers and staff to adapt and scaffold materials,/assignments/assessments/to improve second language acquisition using ELD,KCPS',and state standards.
