About the Role:

The Deli Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring that our deli department operates efficiently and effectively. This individual will be responsible for preparing and presenting hot and cold deli foods, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present hot and cold deli foods according to company standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling, and preparing hot and cold deli food under supervision.
• Adhere to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating deli products.
• Stack pallets and sort product into correct locations according to company efficiency standards and expectations under supervision.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 16 years of age required.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate motorized equipment.
• Typically involves on-the-job training.
• Food Handler certification required.
