    Description

    Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate and provide sports medicine services in the community, schools and therapy clinics.
  • Performs a wide variety of athletic training evaluation and procedures in the care and treatment athletes.
  • Reports to Sports Medicine Coordinator.
  • Coordinates and works closely with schools officials including Athletic Director, Coaches,
  • CaroMont Health Sports Medicine Coordinator, Director of Rehab Services and Service Line Director to provide Sports Medicine Services and program development and growth.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university.
  • NCBATE licensure as well as NATA Board of Certification required.
  • One year experience required; traveler experience preferred.
  • Cannot be a Full Time or Part Time CaroMont Employee.
  • Considerable knowledge of physical therapy and sports medicine terminology, procedures, and techniques.
  • Thorough skill in performing athletic training procedures.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with family members, athletes, coaches, school employees, physicians, community and hospital personnel.
  • Considerable judgment required in working with athletes and performing treatments.
  • Required BLS Certification.
