    Whatyou get to do:

    The Manager of FP&A will assist in management of the budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis of all expenses across the Company and other strategic initiatives as assigned. The Manager will also directly support the Marketing and Sales organization with its routine financial analysis and reporting needs. This position will routinely work with varying levels of management at both the corporate office and the 12 domestic theme parks. Working closely with the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, this position will take a leadership role in providing business recommendations based on the analysis performed. This position will perform multiple functions to include but not limited to:

    • Responsible for cost and efficiency tracking across all parks and corporate departments.
    • Providing a monthly financial performance review and forecast of the Marketing and Sales department and be part of the
    • Review and analyze budget submissions by comparing cost drivers to business conditions.
    • Develop and maintain Key Performance Metrics for the organization and areas of responsibility.
    • Assist in the development of annual budgets and latest forecasts. Track and report on corporate and park operating costs and help facilitate the company's budget process.
    • Conduct analysis on key metrics across SEA's operating parks.
    • Review and analyze expense variances and lead cost review meetings across all parks and corporate departments.
    • Provide analytical support as it relates to cost management initiatives.
    • Work with all levels of management to implement efficiencies as identified.
    • Lead special projects and other duties as assigned.
    Whatit takes to succeed:
    • Must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics or a related field.
    • MBA or Master's degree in finance, business or economics preferred.
    • Must have a proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a team environment.
    • Must have at least 5 years of relevant business experience (e.g., financial planning and analysis, cost analysis, accounting).
    • Must have educational and professional experience in the financial analysis of multi-department revenue and cost center organizations.
    • Must have strong Excel skills with the demonstrated ability to synthesize large quantities of data and use a variety of Excel tools and formulas.
    • Demonstrated ability to summarize financial information and use it for deck presentations to senior executives.
    • Demonstrated strong communication skills.
    • Experience with SAP and Business Objects, or other data warehouse tools preferred.
    • Experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking or Transaction Services highly preferred.
    • Must have strong analytical and computer modeling skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Theme Park experience preferred.
