    JOB DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Assisting with the design of PLC Panels, providing input during the design phase to ensure that the proper PLC hardware is specified.

    Factory testing the PLC at our panel shop near New Orleans, LA
    Travelling to customer's facilities to provide on-site testing, commissioning and start-up with the PLC and field wired end devices. Our customers are located throughout the US but primarily LA, TX, OK, MS, TN, KY, IL, IN. We are also currently doing some work in Mexico and Peru.
    Providing remote support to troubleshoot issues with PLCs.
    Working within project timelines and budgets

    Providing Technical Point Lists for the PLC I/O to interface with HMIs and SCADA systems, 60-75 employee company where all know each other, the partners appreciate their employees, growth to leadership is possible if desired.


    QUALIFICATIONS:


    5 or more years of PLC Programming in Oil & Gas and/or Refined Product Pipelines, Programming experience with Rockwell RSLogix and GE/Emerson Rx3i PLC's.

    Experience with configuring and testing serial communications between PLC and third parties, Omni Flow Computer configuration experience, HMI Configuration experience with Rockwell software, PLC Panel Hardware design experience, PLC Loop Testing and troubleshooting experience.

    Designing and developing ladder logic control programs for Rockwell and GE/Emerson PLCs.
    Our client base is Oil, gas and refined products pipelines.

    Most of the design and development phase will be done in our office in Gretna, LA; however, working remotely from home is also a possibility.

    Residency in Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas, 50% TRAVEL DURING THE WEEK - 2 TO 3 NIGHTS PER WEEKDAY TRAVEL.
