- Understands business needs and expectations of the customers and provides relevant solutions
- Ensures proper attention to every customer
- Analyzes and understands the choices and capacities of the customer and suggest suitable products
- Call prospective customers, explain details of the different products and services offered and initiate the sale
- Achieves sales targets and improves goodwill of the organization
- Responsible to close sales deals and achieve customer satisfaction
- Uses Tower system to gather information, provides information, and/or update customer records.
- Completes cross training with other departments to include Operations, Sales, and Billing.
- Records details of sales transactions and submit reports to Sales Manager
- Establishes customer accounts by negotiating and documenting service type, pricing, billing, and other required information. Communicates concise and accurate information.
- Provides customer retention by providing high level customer service and offering alternatives to cancellation request.
- Serves as the customer's advocate by solving problems on the customer's behalf and by engaging the right department and people within Waste Pro.
- Supports other service lines when required.
- Normal setting for this job is: Office Setting
- Education: AS degree preferred .Related work experience can be substituted for educational requirements.
- 1+ years of progressive sales experience.
- Demonstrated ability to apply consultative and solutions based selling skills.
- Experience with sales generation, customer interaction, presentation, client interaction, negotiation, account management, forecasting, pricing, and sales closure.
- Superior written and oral communication skills combined with above average organization, interpersonal, listening, presentation and problem solving skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to function with the utmost honesty and integrity.
- Proficiency in using array of software packages, including MS Outlook, Word, PPT and Excel.
- Organized and intellectually able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
- High degree of autonomy, yet team oriented with ability to work cross functionally within dynamic environment.
- Ability to handle a heavy volume of calls in a professional and efficient manner,
- Ability to multi task.
- Ability to react well under pressure and treat others with respect
- Ability to Prioritize and plan work activities
- Ability to adapt and deal with frequent changes in the work environment, manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to service.
- Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.
- Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro .
- Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
