    SALES MERCHANDISER (ASIAN FOODS):

    The Sales Merchandiser will execute tasks and directions from Sales Manager and VP of Sales. The primary role is to manage customer accounts, such as taking customer orders, organize stock outs, maintain customer service, and reporting any fulfillment or delivery issues to the Shipping Department.

    Candidate must be detail orientated, organized, reliable, results driven, and have a drive for success.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Build and maintain strong customer relationships by in-store visits

    · Perform sales calls, meet and present offerings to buyers. Follow-up to close deals

    · Optimize product merchandising by gaining shelf space, rotating stock, rearranging displays, and clearing shelves

    · Formulate sales forecast and meet sales quota

    · Maintain brand awareness of all products, promotions and advertising at store-level

    · Report to Shipping Manager on out-of-stock items, short-dated product, inventory levels, and store audit findings

    · Report to Sales Manager on inventory levels, price auditing, competitor analysis, promotional campaigns, and customer service issues

    · Oversee, coordinate, and assist in store-level food tasting demos

    · Participate in industry trade shows and food festivals

    · Deliver product, samples, and orders to customers

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    · Must be fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), Vietnamese

    · Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

    · 2+ years of sales experience

    · Associates or Bachelor's Degree

    · Proven negotiation and persuasion skills

    · Persistence in exceeding monthly sales quota

    · Computer literate: MS Office, email, and knowledge of social media a plus

    · Must dress professionally and represent the brand as part of the Sales Team

    · Organized with time management, and able to prioritize performing multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines

    JOB TYPE

    · Full-time, Monday – Friday (weekends and holidays, as necessary)

    · Typical hours 8AM – 5PM (may adjust, as necessary)

    WORK & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    · San Gabriel Valley, San Bernardino, Orange County - Local Candidates only

    · In-town driving or travel 80% of the time (subject to change)

    · Prolonged seating 20% of the time (subject to change)

    · Constant communication (written and orally) with customers and Sales Manager

    · Carry, lift, push, pull up to 25lbs

    · Outdoor environment – exposure to weather
