Job Details:

Looking for a seasoned product definition engineer to collaborate with the Renesas Memory Interface team in defining specifications for cutting-edge integrated circuits, particularly Power Management ICs (PMICs).
Collaborate with various teams within Renesas and partners in the industry to develop specifications for mixed-signal integrated circuits.
Represent Renesas in JEDEC, actively engaging in meetings as the PMICs expert.
Assess proposals from standards organizations, gather feedback internally, and present Renesas's stance clearly.
Influence industry standards development by proposing and presenting ideas to standards bodies.
Foster full industry-standard specifications as the main author, maintaining and updating them as needed.
Develop and manage internal specification documents, aligning external standards with internal requirements.
Work closely with technical writers for document creation, ensuring accuracy and coherence.

Qualifications:

Expertise in switching regulator design and implementation.
Experience in Analog Design and Power IC Engineering, including Test Engineering and Applications.
Background in architecting mixed-signal designs and drafting device-level specifications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, and Visio a plus.
More than 10 years of direct ASIC/IC design experience.

Education:

Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with over 10 years of experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with over 15 years of experience.
