    Description
    Hands on experience Infrastructure-As-Code, automating deployments, cluster management, and systems security within a CI/CD Pipeline Experience with VMware on Cloud (VMC) on AWS
    Experience with VMWARE infrastructure in a very large enterprise environment
    Experience in Kubernetes regarding containers / Microservices principles
    Disciplined practice of producing, maintaining, and versioning system documentation
    VMware infrastructure build experience, particularly on deploying ESXi 7.0, STANDALONE VCF EXPEREINCE
    Experience of working at an enterprise level and scale environments
    Executing existing automations in vRA
    Ability to follow defined build process, and escalate to tech lead for any unknown issues.
    Familiar with DELL, HPE, Lenovo server hardware
    Ability to identify hardware issues and raise necessary tickets
    Understanding of basic network technologies, VLANS, subnets, and resolving connectivity issues.
    Ability to execute within a customer-centric environment.
    Good analytical skills with excellent oral and written communications skills.
    Knowledge of IT control and project management practices and experience working across large environments.
    Working knowledge in an infrastructure project management.

    Understanding of virtualized environments and how VMware vSphere (ESX), the VC component and 3rd party products work with each other.

    Working knowledge of the VMware Replicator or any other migration products.
    Work with peers and stakeholders across multiple time zones to ensure new product releases are deployed
    Work collaboratively with internal tech teams to develop, document, and maintain build, deployment, and configuration standards
    Coordinate and perform in-depth testing, including end-user reviews, after upgrades, deployments and new systems
    Deploy a greenfield instance of vSphere 7 with vSAN, and vRealize Automation 7 across multiple datacenters
    Create and maintain integrations between vRealize Automation and internal systems
    Work with internal IT & Engineering teams to ensure that vRealize Automation contains required catalog items
    Utilize vRealize Orchestrator to assist in deployment, configuration, and management of catalog items in vRealize Automation and vSphere
    Install, configure, maintain images, templates and Manage vSphere AutoDeploy
    Install and Manage both vRealize Operations Manager and vRealize Log Insight
    Manage patches, maintenance and upgrades of vSphere and vRealize products
    Deploy hardware globally via Dell OpenManage
    Participate in off hours on-call rotation
    Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical staff and managers.
    Self-starter, with strong organizational and task management skills.
    Must be able to insert themselves into an ongoing project and assertively get information they need to be successful.
    Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with various teams to drive progress and achieve consensus
