    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department weekend-only assignment requiring a NJ or compact RN license and recent Level 1 trauma experience.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
    Weekend-only schedule: Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
    Care for a range of patients in a large Level 1 Trauma environment
    Must be able to work all assigned weekend shifts
    Will manage patients in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
    Holiday coverage may be required based on hospital needs

    Requirements
    Active NJ or compact state RN license required; pending licenses not accepted
    Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
    Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
    NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
    Experience working in a large Level 1 Trauma hospital required
    COVID vaccination with one booster and flu vaccination required (religious exemptions accepted)
