    OTR Owner Operator at Clean Harbors summary:

    Clean Harbors seeks an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner-Operator based in Denver to run long-haul routes into the Midwest, averaging 2,700–3,000 miles per week with bi-weekly home time.

    The role requires Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, 12+ months driving experience, compliance with DOT safety/placarding rules, loading/unloading hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and maintaining logs and reports.

    Compensation targets $200K–$250K per year with pay for on-duty time via demurrage, hourly non-asset rates, and/or mileage pay.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

    Operates tractor trailer units

    Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units

    Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads

    Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations

    Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports


    QUALIFICATIONS
    Class A CDL

    HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements

    12+ months of Class A driving experience

    Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
