Sales Person - CLINTON, NC

The Sales Person will maintain an acceptable sales quota as established in weekly monthly and annual store goals advises customer on quality style or value of home furnishings merchandise and in selecting appropriate items develops expertise in customer experience and sales execution to properly meet the needs of the customer verifies prices are correct and each item is accounted for on sales orders calculates sales discount as warranted in determining sales write up prepares tags on merchandise places tags on all merchandise especially for sales promotions sets up advertising displays arranges merchandise on counters and sales floor to promote sales stocks shelves counters tables and other sales areas with merchandise loads pick-ups obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup attempts to resolve customer complaints regarding delivery of damaged or incorrect merchandise makes prospecting calls via telephone utilizing various telemarketing techniques maintains accurate records at CRM system updates maintains accurate records activity within CRM system handles inquiries person phone attends scheduled meetings regularly inspects assigned area cleanliness orderliness cleans shelves counters floor displays assists completion credit application answers questions Company/store policy procedures sets up delivery pickup times documents appropriately composes sends thank-you notes customers business keeps record sells receives documentation reports reviews processes responds distributes forwards files maintains takes action operates personal computer calculator copy machines telephone equipment completes essential functions follows adheres Display Standards Customer Service Counter Telephone Standards complies Farmers Furniture S.W.I.N.G. program enters service issues PQA assigned Upholds promotes H.O.M.E.: Helping Ordinary people do extraordinary things being Motivated owner cares ensuring excellence habit personally entrusted lead
