    Job Description:
    Required Education & Licensure
    • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
    • Current NYS RN License.
    • BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or client).
    • Note: Unit-specific requirements are listed in the Compliance Matrix.
    Required Experience & Skills
    • Nursing (RN) experience of six (6) months to three (3) years.
    • Five (5) + years of direct experience required.
    • Management Experience of zero (0) to three (3) years.
    • Strong proficiency in:
    • Collaboration
    • Communication (verbal & written)
    • Judgement/Critical Thinking
    • Organizational Understanding H.
    • Planning (Organizing, Time Management)
    • Problem Solving
    • Quality
    • Reliability
    • Safety and Risk Management.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
    • Experience: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting. (2+ years in psych preferred for this department).
    • Certifications:
    • Professional certification in a related nursing specialty.
    • Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by the home unit assigned.
