    Project Manager - Innovation Projects [Manufacturer of Exterior Building Products]

    Type: 6-9-month contract with a possibility of going permanent- remote

    Summary:

    Join our dynamic team as a Project Manager focusing on innovation projects within the manufacturing of exterior building products. This pivotal role involves leading cross-functional teams to drive innovation, from concept to implementation, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of innovation projects within the manufacturing of exterior building products.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Build and lead cross-functional project teams, including members from research and development, engineering, production, marketing, and other departments.
    • Foster collaboration and communication among team members to achieve project objectives.
    • Identify project resource requirements and allocate resources effectively to ensure project success.
    • Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet project goals.
    • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential impact on project outcomes.
    • Proactively address issues and obstacles to keep projects on track.
    • Communicate project status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management.
    • Solicit feedback and input from stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's innovation strategy for exterior building products.
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and recommend new product development initiatives.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
    • Strong understanding of product development processes and innovation methodologies.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
