    Job Title

    Tx-Star Speech Language Services is a leading provider of speech and language therapy services to schools in Texas, with over 40 school districts partnered.

    We are actively recruiting Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team throughout the year.

    The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support students' communication needs, facilitating their full participation in educational programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, employing a variety of diagnostic tools and practices.
    • IEP Development: Develop, implement, and adjust IEPs or 504 Plans for students with speech and language impairments, ensuring specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound goals.
    • Therapy and Intervention: Provide direct therapy in school settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and other related disorders.
    • Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement comprehensive support strategies for students.
    • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and confidential records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

    Requirements:

    • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
    • Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    • Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of federal and state special education laws.
