The Material Handler loads, unloads and moves materials within or near plant yard or work site performing any clerical duties related to shipping receiving inspecting storing issuing delivering variety of materials equipment supplies.
Responsibilities
- Counts weighs measures incoming outgoing items compare identifying information against bills lading invoices orders records examines shipments for damage shortages corresponds with shipper rectify completes paperwork forms required for documentation.
- Determines method shipment utilizing knowledge shipping procedures routes rates prepares materials shipping weighing packaging stamping prepares necessary shipping forms bills lading.
