+ Apply engineering disciplines and take on full responsibility for APQP documentation including DFMEA Engineering Specifications DVP R Drawings Control Plans.+ Collaborate with Purchasing in the sourcing of new Chassis Steering components systems whether for material cost reductions or new platforms conducting supplier technical reviews to ensure the best source for the product from a functional and financial perspective.+ Create specify and release Chassis Steering components working directly with our Vehicle Integration Electrical SW teams to ensure vehicle functional objectives are met+,Job summary
This Senior Design Release Engineer will be responsible for designing releasing Electric Power Steering systems ensuring that steering target performance features as well as FMVSS requirements are met.
The individual will understand the vehicle's technical specifications performance targets utilizing APQP process supporting documentation ensuring Slate quality performance regulatory objectives achieved sustained throughout vehicle lifecycle.
