    Position Summary:

    Excel Sports Management is seeking a Financial Associate in pursuit of, or with experience in finance, accounting, or other quantitative roles to support the financial team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated, with a passion for continuous process improvement. This person will be a key member of the operations team, assisting with all financial transactions across the company.     Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Processing new contracts, preparing invoices, assisting with vendor forms, and otherwise ensuring prompt and accurate payments to clients and the company;
    • Support and ensure accuracy with the data migration between financial management systems (ERP).
    • Record incoming and outgoing payments using our web-based accounting platforms;
    • Onboard new clients, employees, and vendors in a timely manner to ensure seamless integration into our payment system within our ERP
    • Send internal communication reminders to facilitate the resolution of outstanding payments, and takes initiative to follow up individually as needed;
    • Manage and track specific AR reports, including the monitoring of aged collections
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Education & Experience:

    • Open to May 2024 graduates or up to 1 year experience

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Programs;
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities;
    • Able to build relationships, genuine connections and trust both internally and externally;
    • Excellent communication skills;
    • Exceptional time-management skills, able to execute tasks and responsibilities in an ever-changing environment;
    • Able to operate with discretion and confidentiality;
    • Flexible and reliable team player internally and externally;
    • Able to think creatively and innovatively.

    The pay for this position is: $16.00 per hour.Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the California and New York City Salary Transparency Law.
